Day 1: Chiang Mai - Golden Triangle-Doi Mae Salong  (L)  
Depart from Chiang Mai by car or van to the city of Chiang Rai and stop en route at the hot springs of Mae Kha Chan and Wat Rong Khun in Mae Suay. Continue to Chiang Khong via Hmong Muang Klang village for a visit. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant and in the afternoon take a boat trip along the Mekong River from Chiang Khong to Chiang Saen including a visit of Wat Chedi Luang. Continue driving up to Doi Mae salong, well known for its Royal projects and amazing gardens.
Overnight at Phu Chaisai Resort and Spa

Day 2: Doi Mae salong - Lisu Lodge (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel,visit the villages of Yao, Akha and a Chinese refugee village "Kuomingtang" who flew the Communist revolution to settle in Northern Thailand.
Lunch at a local restaurant and depart for Lisu Lodge, with a visit of Chiang Dao cave on the way.
Dinner with Lisu music from one of the Lisu banjo players and dances performed by the village children. Overnight at Lisu Lodge.

Day 3: Lisu Lodge - Mae Hong Son  (B, L)  
Breakfast at the lodge. Drive to visit the Karen village and continue along mountainous road to Pai. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, visit the Lod Cave, a gigantic cave with an inner river. Continue by road to Mae Hong Son for a visit of Burmese temple (Doi Kong Mu) with superb views over the mountains.
Overnight at Tara Mae Hong Son.

Day 4: Depart Mae Hong Son  (B, L)  
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy elephant riding across rivers and hills and then board a long-tail boat along Pai River to reach the village of the infamous Long neck women tribe of  Padong. After lunch at a local restaurant, transfer to Mae Hong Son airport for further destination.
